Silvers HR Management acquires JV Associates, expands resources for clients -Press Release

Granite Bay, CA – Dec 21 2007 — Silvers HR Management has acquired Sacramento HR firm JV Associates. President Kim Silvers will run all the day-to-day operations with her staff. Jacqueline Vance of JV Associates has retired from the business after almost 40 years of HR consulting.

The acquisition expands the Silvers HR client list by about 100, nearly all in the Sacramento area. They will get additional “horsepower” in the form of more access, deeper expertise, Web-based tools and additional capacity.

“We see this as a way to leverage more hands on each account,” Silvers said.

Clients from each firm will continue to work with their primary contacts.

“I chose Kim’s firm because she represented the same type of professionalism and caring that we do,” said Vance, adding that she expects no change in the kind of hands-on customer experience her clients are used to.

“Our approach is very similar,” agreed Silvers. “The key benefit we both provide is the ability to interact with each client on a personal basis.”

Silvers HR Management, a small human relations shop in Granite Bay, announced Wednesday it has acquired JV Associates in Cameron Park.

Jacqueline Vance of JV Associates has retired from the business after almost 40 years of human resources consulting. The deal sends one staff member and about 100 clients over to Silvers HR president Kim Silvers.
